No. 017 Beauty Bush Gel Nail Polish

Sale price$10.00 USD
Color: NudePink
Finish: Opaque

A plaster wall washed in pale rose.

S&L No. 017 Beauty Bush is a light-to-medium beige with a dusty pink cast, muted rather than sweet, so it never tips into baby pink or bubblegum.

The pink warms fair and light skin without looking flushed, and it reads as polished rather than bare. A quiet choice for job interviews, bridal parties, and any week that calls for neat, low-key nails.

Best used for:

  • Job interview nails
  • Wedding guest nails
  • French tip base

YASEMIN I.
Finally found a brand of gel polish that lasts!!

I’ve been doing my own nails fir years and have gone through hundreds of bottles. Not because I used up the bottle, but because they just don’t stand up. Go through the effort and 2 days later they start chipping away. This brand lasted 2 1/2 weeks before I saw the first tiniest chip on the polish. Since I’m not a professional, I may have applied it too thick. No problem- I still love this brand and will be buying more colors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will No. 017 Beauty Bush cover my natural nail completely?

Yes. It's an opaque gel polish, so once it's built up you won't see your nail line, free edge, or patchiness through it.

Opaque S&L shades reach full coverage in two to three thin coats, each cured for 60 seconds. Very pale shades, like whites and soft pastels, usually need the full three. How thin the coats are matters more than how many: one thick coat cures unevenly and is the usual cause of wrinkling and lifting.

Why does my first coat of opaque gel look streaky?

That's normal. The first coat of an opaque gel lays down a thin layer of pigment, and it often looks patchy, especially in pale and bright shades. The second coat evens it out.

Don't fix streaks by loading more gel onto the first coat. Thick layers are what make gel shrink back from the edges. Keep each coat thin, cure it, then add the next.

What else do I need to apply No. 017 Beauty Bush?

Three things besides the color. S&L Gel Base Coat bonds the color to your natural nail. S&L Gel Top Coat (no-wipe) seals it and adds shine. And an LED or UV lamp cures each layer, because gel polish doesn't air-dry.

If you're starting from scratch, the S&L Gel Nail Starter Kit includes all three, plus prep tools and remover.
