How many coats do I need for full colour?

Two thin coats for most shades. Cure each coat for 60 seconds under an LED/UV lamp before applying the next. Nudes, whites, and pastels usually need three, because light pigments build more slowly. Sheer and jelly finishes are designed to stay translucent - one or two coats gives a soft wash, three gets you closer to solid color. Always build in thin coats rather than one thick one. A thick coat leaves uncured gel underneath, which is what causes lifting and peeling. If the first coat looks streaky, that's normal. The second evens it out.
